In response, various brands are actively utilising eco-friendly materials such as organic cotton, recycled plastics, and other natural substances in an effort to significantly lessen their environmental impact. ZHT Footwear is fully committed to improving ethical production practices across all aspects of our operations, ensuring fair pay and safe working conditions for all individuals involved in our supply chain. By focusing on thoughtfully designed, durable footwear, we aim to extend the life of our products and effectively reduce waste in the process.   • BSCI

    amfori BSCI provides a Code of Conduct with a set of values and principles that help amfori members improve their own policies and practices, such as updating purchasing contracts to conduct business responsibly. These principles apply to all sectors worldwide and comply with international regulations (e.g., International Labour Organization, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights).

    SMETA is the world’s most widely used audit. Businesses use SMETA to understand and make improvements to working conditions and environmental performance in their business and supply chain.

Certifications

  • GRS

    The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is an international, voluntary standard that sets requirements for third-party. It is a chain of custody standard to track recycled raw materials through the supply chain. It uses the chain of custody requirements of the Content Claim Standard (CSS).

    The Recycled Claim Standard is intended for use with any product that contains at least 5% Recycled Material. Each stage of production is required to be certified, beginning at the recycling stage and ending at the last seller in the final business-to-business transaction. Material Collection and Material Concentration sites are subject to self-declaration, document collection, and on-site visits.

  • HIGG INDEX

    The Higg Index is a suite of tools for the measurement of value chain sustainability—developed by Cascale, formerly Sustainable Apparel Coalition, and hosted exclusively on Worldly.

  • CARBON

    We ZHT Footwear have been working with one of our customers (a global brand) to understand and address our Scope 3 emissions.

    We confirm that the Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing sites we contract with have set greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets covering manufacturing sites' Scope 1 & 2 emissions, in line with the criteria and recommendations of the SBTi.
